Mystogan X Reader

You stepped through the guild door and fell back in surprise as the guild members popped out of nowhere.

“SURPRISE!” everyone screamed.

You just stood there, trying to register what just happened. Gray walked over and slapped you on the back as Natsu started getting all fired up and excited. 

“Oi (y/n)! Fight-“ started Natsu as Erza kicked him in the back.

“It’s her birthday! And you’re challenging her to a fight?! Have you no sense at all?” Erza yelled at him.

 Natsu quietly hid behind Lucy, in fear of Erza.

 Everyone started moving towards you, wishing you a happy birthday. It was your first birthday at the guild and the amount of love your guild members showed you was heartwarming.

Since a child, you had always been alone. Your parents were killed at a young age and while you were traveling, you were found by Mystogan. Together, you traveled until you reached Magnolia, where you both joined Fairy Tail. 

Smiling, you opened the palm of your hand and released a shower of golden sparks with a beautiful dragon spitting multi-colored fire. (A/N Kinda like the masters in Avatar Legend of Aang when Zuko and Aang are being judged by the dragons in Book 3)

 Everyone cheered and as it faded away, you went over to the bar to sit down next to Master Markarov.

 “Happy Birthday (y/n).” he said to you.

“Thank you Master Markarov,” you replied as Mira handed you a hot chocolate.

“Where’s -,” you didn’t even give him a chance to ask.

“He’s busy with a job, he sent me a birthday message a few days earlier to apologize for not being here”

“Oh, I see. When is he coming back?” Markarov asked.

“I’m not sure,” you said looking down.  

As you put your hot chocolate to your lips, you could start to feel the air changing. It felt heavier, realizing what was happening, you muttered a counter spell to resist the effects of the spell.  

Turning around you saw Mystogan step over Natsu, who was lying on the floor with his butt up in the air. You were in shock.

“I’m home Master,” he said.

“Mystogan,” you whispered.

“Hello (y/n),” he replied, pulling down his scarf. 

With tears forming in your eyes, you ran and he embraced you. Smiling, he pet your head.

 “I’m sorry I’m late.” He said.

Looking up, you just shook your head. You would’ve stayed like that for longer if Markarov didn’t cough. Blushing, you separated yourselves, but at that moment, Mystogan pulled you into a kiss.

Your eyes widened with shock and when you finally processed what was happening. Moaning, you started to kiss him back. His hands started to travel down to your waist and you placed your arms around his neck. He started to pry your lips open with his tongue and that’s when Makarov started to tap his staff on the table to get your attention. Pulling apart, you both looked at each other. Your cheeks were red and Mystogan chuckled, while you looked down. 

“Well, I see you two have a lot to catch up on,” Makarov said. 

Smiling, Mystogan pulled up his scarf and started to pull you away as you waved goodbye to Markarov. As the spell on the guild was lifted, everyone looked around, trying to find you. Then, they finally noticed Markarov and his smile.

“Mystogan! I’m going to fight him the next time I see him!” Natsu yelled, getting fired up.

“Natsu, shhhhhh. Master is trying to say something,” Lucy said trying to shush him.

“Yea fire breath.” Grey smirked. 

“What did you say stripper?” Natsu yelled back.

“That’s a lot of nerve you got there you-“

“Enough! We’re trying to listen what Master Markarov is saying and you two idiots are arguing like eight year-olds!” Erza yelled, interrupting Grey.

Both Natsu and Grey retreated behind Lucy in fear of Erza.

“(y/n) and Mystogan are a couple now,” Markarov said with happiness.

The guild broke out in cheers, while Natsu was shootimg fire out his mouth.

“How did he get laid before us Gray!” Natsu screamed at Gray.

“Not my problem you scared them away dragon breath.” Gray reataliated.

“What was that! Fight me Gray!” Natsu yelled.

----------- MEANWHILE --------------

You and Mystogan were sitting on your couch…. Which was a complete understatement. Mystogan was trailing butterfly kisses down your neck as you moaned into his shoulder. But when he bit down, you cried out as he tenderly sucked, leaving a hickey.

Moaning from frustration, you pushed him so he backed off and you attacked his mouth. You were finally letting out years and years of want and you were not going to let this chance pass. You started to aggressively kiss him, holding him there by putting your hands in his soft blue locks. You felt him bite down on your lower lip and you started to open your mouth and grant him entrance. When you felt the need for air to becoming to great, you pulled apart.

For a moment, both of you were panting and staring at each other. That’s when you blushed and pulled away, sitting next to Mystogan and trying to relieve yourselves of awkwardness.

“So, where does this take us?” you asked.

“Where do you want it to go?” he replied.

“I’m guessing we’re boyfriend and girlfriend,” you said holding his hand.

“I guess we are,” he smiled at you.

“I love you,” you whispered as he came closer to you.

“I love you too,” and he gave you a gentle kiss.
